We offer honest advice about the best way to upgrade your PC from adding extra components like memory, modems and network cards through to complete system rebuilds.

Adverts and Pop-up windows have quickly become one of the most annoying aspects of using the internet. We see computers every day that are virtually impossible to use.

Pop-up windows are very easy to control, and once the cause of them has been fixed it's usually quite easy to keep them at bay.

Spyware is one of the terms used for software that keeps track of what you use your computer for. It records the websites you visit, the pictures you look at and at worse, the numbers on your credit cards!

Don't be too alarmed though, as with a little help and advice from us you can make your PC safe again!

Firewalls and Antivirus

If your computer is connected to the Internet, it's extremely important to have both antivirus software and a firewall. There are lots of different options, and the expensive commercial software isn't always the mot suitable answer.

Choosing a Laptop

Laptop computers are now more affordable than ever, but the specifications are still baffling to most people. We offer a friendly "personal shopper" service where we sit down and discuss what you need the laptop for, and then we find one that suits you and your budget.

We do all of the basic setup and installation for you, so when the laptop arrives in your hands you can just plug it in and use it straight away. (We can show you how to do that as well!)

We can arrange to quickly transfer all of your email and computer settings from one PC to another.

If you're giving your old PC away we can help you make sure that everything is deleted from it before it goes to it's new owner.
